Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t you have fresh flowers or deliver on a Monday?

For our imported blooms, flower auctions run Monday – Friday and they arrive with us the next day, so we have fresh deliveries Tuesday – Saturday. We only deliver the freshest blooms available.

Do you do same day local deliveries? I can’t see it on your online shop!

Yes, most of the time! But you will need to place your order by phone instead by calling 01373473788. If you place your order by noon, we can guarantee it and if you place your order after noon we will certainly try our best.

What if something is wrong with my flowers?

We sincerely hope you never have to ask this, but just incase… get in touch with us and email a photo to hello@brambleandwild.com of the problem and we can take it from there.

Do you deliver 7 days a week?

We deliver Tuesday – Saturday locally when we have the freshest blooms available. We deliver Wednesday – Saturday for bouquets being sent by Royal Mail.

What time will my delivery arrive?
We deliver between 9am & 5pm locally. However, sometimes during busier periods i,e. Mothering Sunday, Valentines Day and Christmas there is a chance we will deliver before or after this. However, most deliveries arrive by 3pm.

For national delivery, our bouquets are sent with Royal Mail special delivery and are due to be with you before 1pm. A signature is required on delivery.

What if the recipient isn’t in to take their flowers?
For local deliveries, our drivers will first look for a safe, covered space to leave the bouquet. If that isn’t an option, they try a neighbour. Lastly they will call the recipients phone number, as we try to keep it a surprise as long as possible!. A calling card will be popped through the door. The flowers must be delivered as they are perishable.

For national deliveries, although we do put a note on the box asking the postman to leave the bouquet as we would, it’s their duty to return it to the local sorting office. So, this is purely down to their own discretion and unfortunately something we have no control over.

Are your bouquets always exactly as they look in the pictures?
Because we always want our flowers to be as fresh as possible, we create our designs in your ordered colour way but with the very best flowers available that day. This means they will look slightly different to the pictures.

I want to order something more specific than your webshop designs… can I?

Of course! Call us on 01373473788 or email hello@brambleandwild.com and one of our designers will be happy to help.

How eco friendly are you?

Whilst we do still import some flowers, we try to do our best in other areas. As well as having our own cutting patch, which is pesticide free and caters for bees, all of our packaging is either fully reusable, compostable or recyclable. We buy a lot of recycled paper for our stationary too and compost all of our green waste. We take great advantage of our local zero waste shop for all nasty-free cleaning necessities and even use recycled loo roll which comes in paper, (thanks to Who Gives A Crap!) We drink copious amounts of tea, and even this is organic, plastic free and in unbleached bags.

How about floral foam? I hear it’s nasty stuff.

Yes it is. We won’t beat around the bush! We currently only use Oasis BIO foam for a few sympathy tributes and for occasional wedding designs booked before 01/02/2020. We are investigating and trialling new designs to rid ourselves of it all together. What little foam we do use is designed to biodegrade 50% within 365 days.

Can I come and work with you?

Whilst we would love to offer everyone who enquires work experience or freelance work, anyone who has been inside our shop will see that space is limited, allowing just enough space for us! We really appreciate your interest though and it never hurts to drop us a line and say hello.

What is your local delivery range?

We deliver up to and including 12 miles away from BA111BY.

How much do I have to spend for delivery?

£25 is our minimum spend, but you can have anything from us delivered – a bouquet, a plant, cut flowers, a gift…

Can I add chocolates, champagne or balloons to my order?

We are not licensed to sell champagne and balloons unfortunately do not meet our environmental ethos, due to the plastic, so we have chosen not to include these. We can source you delicious handmade chocolates from local chocolatier Cafe La Strada.

Can I order stems of flowers from you rather than a bouquet?

Of course! But if it’s something which we do not use regularly in the shop such as gypsophila or gerberas, or a luxury bloom like garden roses, we do ask that you purchase the whole wrap.

How far do you deliver weddings?

We travel an hour from Frome or Taunton, avoiding motorways.

Who should I speak to about weddings?

Grace takes care of all our brides and grooms, seeing you through from initial contact to creation. She’s often working in the office rather than the shop these days, so it’s best to pop her an email to hello@brambleandwild.com. If you are choosing a ‘Wild Wedding’ with us, Sloany will be looking after you and can be reached at the same email.

Are you free on my wedding date?

Please do send Grace an email, hello@brambleandwild.com, who can check availability for you.

Unfortunately our shop florists do not have access to the full wedding diary and can not advise on availability.

How quickly do you book up?

Summer dates are often booked a year in advance, if not more. Bank holiday weekends can sometimes be booked two years in advance. However, we do occasionally still have availability so it’s always worth checking your date.

Do you price match?

To maintain the integrity of our designs, we do not price match or discount. However we can offer you alternative designs to fit into your budget.

What are your wedding T&C’s?

You can find them right here.
